Job Description: Dietitian at Satyahara (Upcoming Organic and Natural Retail Outlet @ Palarivattom)
Position Overview:
As a Dietitian at Satyahara, you will play a crucial role in promoting healthy eating habits and providing expert guidance to customers. Satyahara is an organic and natural retail outlet opening soon in Palarivattom, Kochi. committed to offering high-quality, wholesome products that support a healthy lifestyle. Your role as a Dietitian will involve educating customers about the nutritional and health benefits of organic and natural foods, assisting them in making informed choices and fostering a deeper understanding of the connection between diet and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Consultations: Conduct one-on-one nutritional consultations with customers to understand their health goals, dietary preferences, and specific nutritional needs. Provide personalized recommendations and meal plans based on individual requirements.
Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the products offered at Satyahara, including their nutritional profiles, ingredient lists, and health benefits. Use this knowledge to guide customers in selecting appropriate products that align with their dietary preferences and health goals.
Customer Education: Conduct workshops, seminars, and educational sessions to raise awareness about the importance of organic and natural foods, their role in overall health, and the benefits of incorporating them into daily diets.
Menu Planning: Collaborate with the store's culinary team to design and promote healthy and nutritious menu options, ensuring that they adhere to the outlet's values and quality standards.
Health and Wellness Events: Organize and participate in health and wellness events within the community to promote Satyahara's values and mission.
Stay Updated on Nutrition Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments in the nutrition and health industry, including research findings, emerging trends, and dietary guidelines. Apply this knowledge to continuously improve the customer experience and update the store's nutritional offerings.
Content Creation: Contribute to the development of content for Satyahara's website, blog, and social media platforms.
Customer Support: Offer ongoing support to customers who seek advice or have questions related to nutrition, dietary restrictions, or health concerns.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Professional degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Proven experience of minimum 3 years in providing nutrition counselling and developing personalized meal plans.
- Knowledge of organic and natural food products and their health benefits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to interpret scientific research and nutritional data, translating it into practical advice for customers.
- Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and a commitment to organic and natural food choices.
