Melanoma and Diagnostics Lead (m/f/d),
Brand & Customer Manager
Responsibilities:
- Overall topline responsibility for marketing of the melanoma indication (80% of the time) and leading the strategies and marketing efforts within biomarker & diagnostics (20% of allocated time) across different indications with all parts of the organization and with our diagnostic and pharma partners
- Responsible for development and implementation of both strategic and tactical marketing programs for biomarkers and diagnostics and for the melanoma brand, including analysis, strategy, messaging and business plan development, implementation of (digital) programs and tools
- Engagement with key scientific leaders relevant for guiding and enabling implementation, adoption, and use of diagnostics
- Driving awareness and education around the importance of assessment in tumors and communicating the value proposition of patient selection to pathologists and oncologists
- Ensures all activities are done with highest ethical and compliance standards
Primary Activities:
- Market understanding: Analysis of local market and identification of commercial opportunities based on market research and customer insights
- Strategy development: Participation in local and international meetings where appropriate, understanding and translating the global and local product & biomarker strategy into local priorities and the integrated business plan
- Project & event management: Implementation and tracking of (digital) campaigns, initiatives and materials directed at different internal and external stakeholders, such as Health Care Professionals, sales teams, or patients
- Sales Teams support: making sure sales teams understand the strategic imperatives and support them with necessary trainings, tools, and materials
- Customer focus: field visits in alignment with sales team collecting feedback on current programs and gaining customer insights, individual visit with relevant stakeholders aimed at co-developing materials or implementing specific programs, participation at national, regional, or local congresses or our company’s own events where appropriate in alignment with BUD
- Financial acumen: Tracking of product sales and expenses in alignment with all appropriate internal stakeholders based on local external and global internal assumptions
- Cost management: support in allocating resources and managing budgets of the Business Unit. Tracking progress and adjusting activities accordingly
- Cross functional collaboration: ensure alignment with the Integrated Brand and Customer Plan between various stakeholder / departments such as Business Unit, Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Finance, demand planning etc. Participating in or leading cross functional workstreams of different nature
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- University Degree or above, preferably in business or life sciences (e.g. biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, medicine)
Skills/Expertise Required:
- Industry experience is required
- Oncology Marketing experience
- Clinical & scientific competence
- Knowledge of the overall healthcare system and the role of the individual customer groups within the healthcare environment
- Ability to navigate in a science-driven, quickly developing environment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Proven ability to understand & learn science and translate it into messages
- Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skill.
- Collaboration with business partners, influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams
- General affinity to digital tools and concepts
- German & English proficiencies
- Strong MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) expertise

The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 56.900, - and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
