The Royal Melbourne Hospital offers six Critical Care positions primarily suited to PGY3+ doctors considering a career in Anaesthesia and who would like to gain further experience before applying to one of the specialty training programs.
Critical Care Hospital Medical Officer's will rotate through 6 months of Anaethetics and three months each of Rural Emergency Medicine and ICU.
