- proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
- Willingness to replenish professional knowledge.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other departments.
- Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
- Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment.
- In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition.
- Excellent artistic and presentation skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Meet with customers to discuss custom-made desserts or baked goods for special occasions
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification in pastry arts.
