Job Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the design team to understand the process
- Defining the test scenarios / scripts and plan for testing, hands-on executing of test scenarios and validating the results
- Creating the test plan in JIRA and add executions as well as administering and managing the JIRA updates and confluence pages
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders to prep for testing, reporting and documenting of the test results and findings
- Raising defects if any and follow up until closure as well as maintaining a defect tracker for all the bugs/defects identified as part of the testing
- Attend daily stand-up and update meetings as relevant
- Conducting and execute peer reviews for the scripts written and most of the test documentation as well as conducting Sanity testing and Smoke testing
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and well verse with Full Testing Lifecycle, SAFe Agile knowledge
- Experience in performing operational testing and good knowledge on operational volume, manual testing as well as extensive experience in writing test cases, developing and maintaining test scripts
- Diverse work experience in System Testing, System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Functionality Testing, GUI Testing, Exploratory Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Compatibility testing, Validation testing, Accessibility testing
- Experience in using JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
- Hands on experience in creating bug reports, participating in Bug review meetings, coordinating with development team in bug fixation, Tracking Bug Reports using Bug tracking Tools for business software and web applications
- Business level German & English Language skills proficiency required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Extensive Financial Testing, Payments Testing, Web Testing, BACS, Direct debit testing Business operations testing experience
- Experience with production of the Test Plan and weekly status reports; and adhering to strict Test Governance rules to allow for full traceability
- Experience of leading and handling multiple projects under deadlines
- Expertise in Problem solving, excellent communicator and decision making skills
