Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of the Galileo Control Centre, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Support the existing Level-1 maintenance team to plan, execute and document maintenance activities on standard ITC infrastructure.
- Conduct – under supervision – selected Level-1 maintenance procedures related to preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. This may include:
- Execution of Level-1 Hardware related procedures (e.g. monitoring status, HW exchange and supporting tasks based on relevant maintenance manuals etc.)
- Execution of Level-1 Software-related procedures (e.g. monitoring status, (simple) software preventive procedures, preparatory software configuration tasks etc.)
- Monitoring maintenance tickets, support to update tickets/status and follow-up tasks.
- Support the review and update of maintenance documentation.
- Support to the analysis of Level-1 maintenance procedures.

Skills & Experience
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Bachelor in information technology or a relevant discipline;
- Necessary experience and technical knowledge especially including proven technical background on standard, commercial off the shelf ITC-infrastructure;
- Server/Workstations (mainly HP), Firewalls, Switches, Media Converter etc;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
