General Help/Packer
G.E. Barbour Inc. is a multi-product food processor based in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada famous for King Cole Tea, Barbours spices and nut butters. Since 1867, G.E. Barbour Inc. has maintained the highest standards in product quality and customer service. The 21st century finds Barbours emerging with a renewed focus on our core business and brands. Continued growth has created a need for a General Help/Packer in our Nut Butter Department.
Packers: are responsible for ensuring the finished package of each item produced is intact and properly sealed against external contamination. As well, packers ensure the printed lot code on each package is proper and legible before casing the product for stock or shipment. Questionable packages are set aside for rework or disposal throughout the day. The packer also has the responsibility to shut down any line if there are safety or food safety risks evident and to report these to the Supervisor.
Upon successful completion of a performance review in 3 months, G.E. Barbour Inc. offers a Group health plan covering LTD, Life insurance, health and dental. We cost share premiums with the employee. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in our group retirement savings plan.
