UVeye is looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team.
As Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s
overall supply chain and logistics. You’ll define the strategy and tactics in order to maximize the
process efficiency and productivity while ensuring high inventory accuracy and striving for BOM
reduction. In addition, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships
with vendors and distributors.
The Supply chain Manager will report directly to VP Operations.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Direct responsibility for procurement, logistics and shipping of UVeye products and spare
parts to its customers and distributors globally
- Responsible of the TurnKey supply chain performance
- Continuously Improve BOM cost
- Logistics and Shipping management, including Import and Export and Inventory counts.
- Evaluate suppliers for quality and on time delivery.
- Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage.
- Inventory Management while striving for Inventory accuracy.
- Forecast supply market challenges based on competitor analysis and industry trends.
- Supervise the operations staff, routinely report department KPIs along with appropriate
analysis and countermeasures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years prior experience in a similar position from a multidisciplinary company - Must
- Experienced in managing procurement and managing vendors and suppliers.
- ERP experience - Priority - Must.
- Good understanding of the industry market trends and conditions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Setting up a supply chain from scratch - processes, supply base and employee recruitment.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Meticulous and diligent on one hand and flexible and creative on the other
- Very good English both speaking and writing.
