Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for daycare, toddler care, and preschool programs
- Provide support and assistance to children with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Assist with behavior management and implement strategies to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with lead teachers to develop and modify curriculum based on the needs of individual students
- Support students in their daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and toileting
- Monitor and ensure the safety of children at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in teaching young children
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to work effectively with children with special needs, including those with autism
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with lead teachers, parents, and other staff members
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
