You execute HR policies and procedures in our Support Office, Area Office and Stores across Japan.
You ensure positive employee relations with the purpose of protecting the company from any employment related liability; all while staying current on labour laws and regulations.
As a result, you contribute to creating attractive working environment for all employees while analysing and reviewing employees’ satisfaction.
HR Policies and Procedures
You execute HR policies and procedures in our Support Office, Area Office, Stores, and DCs across Japan
・Partner with ER Manager, outside counsel and other functions as necessary to update and maintain practices and policies in employment, employee relations, and overall employee workplace guidelines at least on an annual basis and as needed, which includes Employee Regulations, Employee Contracts, Labour Agreements, Commuting Policies, Personnel Relations Policies, and any other HR related policies and procedures.
Employee Relations
You oversee all employment law-related cases and ensure positive employee relations with the purpose of protecting the company from any employment related liability; all while staying current on employment trends.
Be available as the first line business partner for Area Managers, Store Managers and other employees providing them with requested information and guidance
Partner with labour and social security attorneys on all employment-law-related cases
Maintain overview of high risk ER cases across the Company’s retail locations and support offices
Track and report grievances to ER Manager
Health and Safety
You ensure all the health and safety policies and procedures are in place according to Japanese law
Ensure every Permanent Employee participates in Annual Health Check-up
Facilitate Stress Check-up according to Japanese regulations
Provide necessary support to employees when Labour-related injuries and incidents happen and make necessary reports regarding the injuries and incidents.
Monitor and follow up on Employees working hours to secure no-overtime working environment
Attractive Working Environment
As a result, you contribute to creating attractive working environment for all employees while analysing and reviewing employees’ satisfaction.
Own and facilitate Employee Satisfaction SurveyReview and update Employee Benefits
Assist ER Manager with any activities related promoting values
Keep track of HR related KPI data and share the data with HR team and other functions as necessary
