USC’s Keck School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, is seeking a Project Specialist (Administrative) to support the clinical operations in the Division of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases. We are looking for applicants with a proven background in organizing and facilitating services and activities within a clinical department or program. This role will involve providing assistance to management with administrative functions such as planning, organizing, coordinating, scheduling, and implementing project activities to meet objectives.
We are seeking individuals who are driven, self-motivated, excellent team players, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), as well as familiarity with Google Calendar/Docs and Zoom, is highly desirable.

In this fast-paced environment, the ability to prioritize tasks, pay attention to detail, and respond to emails promptly is crucial. The successful candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. The position will be reporting to the Clinical Project Manager.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate in the planning and coordination of data collection from multiple programs and service lines. Propose effective methods and procedures for data acquisition, management, and quality control.
- Conduct research, gather, organize, and summarize data for project-related or administrative reports and activities. Analyze data and resolve any conflicting information.
- Monitor the efficiency of processes and services. Make recommendations and implement project activities or modifications to ensure the successful achievement of project goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development and updates of division policies and procedures, and assist in coordinating their implementation. Communicate and document relevant information as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty, staff, external offices, and other stakeholders to facilitate project assignments and information exchange. Address and resolve problems or inquiries forwarded by managers and administrators.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Rate Information:
This position will be Non-exempt and Hybrid-Flex.
The hourly rate range for this position is $29.17 to $33.00

Preferred Field of Expertise: Relevant medical practice experience supporting a group physician practice. Experience with scheduling, patient support in a clinical University environment. Experience with credentials necessary for medical staff and providers. Experience with data analysis and reporting.
