Under the direct supervision of Sterile Processing Manager, Asset Manager, Director of the Operating Room and the Director of Perioperative Services, you will perform duties as a Loaner Tray Coordinator as follows: * Collaborate on operations within the sterile processing department * Manage and follow department business and regulatory practices when receiving, inventorying, processing and returning of vendor loaner, consigned and owned instrument & implant trays * Develop and recommend new policies, procedures, and practice and implements specific recommendations, which may include coordinating with several service departments and personnel * Provide advice and assistance with problem solving * Other major duties include, but are not limited to: * Distribution of supplies or equipment * Customer service and departmental efficiencies * Facilitate care and processing of surgical instruments and functions in the Certified Sterile Processing Technician role as needed. Cross training will be provided. Salary Range: $29.12 - $64.27 hourly
* Graduate of recognized Surgical Technologist program or certified Surgical Technologist with more than one-year experience, required * Working knowledge of Universal Precautions to Peri-Operative practice * Working knowledge of use, function, and operation of Operating Room equipment, instrumentation, and furniture * Working knowledge of Operating Room sanitation, aseptic technique, surgical procedures, anatomy and terminology * Physical ability to lift heavy objects, push or pull heavy carts, handle surgical equipment carefully and safely and stand for long period * Able to rotate efficiently to all shifts as assigned
