This role is accountable to maintain policy Advertising & Promotion accounting Policy in the cluster, to ensure its correspondence to global JDE policy. This role is responsible to support Advertising & Promotion, SG&A processes in all cluster countries. Month closing and controls over respective areas are part of the responsibilities.
- Cost estimates checking, WBS creation, WBS budget increase/decrease
- PO confirmation; Procurement support, cases with WBS errors
- A&P Accruals check and calculation, communications with initiators; Accruals posting in SAP
- A&P Settlements execution
- A&P Backups checking and storage
- WH/Distribution/Shipping expenses - accruals checking and posting in SAP;
- Check, control, storage and posting off invoices (TAS);
- Preparation of registers for payment (TAS);
- Control trade promotion accruals;
- Control SG&A Accruals for UAEECA Cluster
- Prepare period end financial and analytical reports for actual data, other reports for management
- Assist management on responding to inquiries from internal and external auditors
- Maintaining a register of contracts for IBM
- Balance Sheet review support
For this role as IFRS Specialist UA&EECA, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or controlling
1+ years of Accounting (preferably a background in FMCG)
Analytical and mathematical skills;
Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment, with cross-functional teams;
Proven ability to meet deadlines, result orientation
Be persuasive and cooperative
English – Intermediate
Knowledge of MS Word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint, preferred SAP
