For our Jason Industrial and AMMEGA operations team, we are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate.
Warehouse Associate
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for processing incoming stock and materials, picking orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing the warehouse. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and be part of the operations team. Key colleagues include Shipper/Receivers, Cutter/Slitters, and Picker/Packers. In this role, you will be based in Bell, California, USA.
A day in the life of a Warehouse Associate can look like
- Observe and follow safety rules as prescribed by the safety policies, including wearing required PPE.
- Prepare orders by pulling materials and checking for accuracy, packing boxes and placing orders in the delivery area.
- Unload shipping containers and trucks, check material in and report discrepancies, put stock in proper locations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by organizing the warehouse for orderliness and sweeping of the floor daily.
- Perform cycle count inventory.
- Assist in other warehouse functions after provided cross training.
- All other duties as assigned.
We are looking for you to offer the following
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in retail or e-commerce preferred, will receive on the job training
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Solid basic math skills using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- May use banding or shrink wrap machines
- Understand stock locater system
- Dealing with ambiguity
- Positive team spirit
